Timetable
Tuesday – Dealers Only
This is recognised as Queensland’s No 1 Auction for motor vehicles. This
Auction is exclusively for Licensed Motor Dealers, and is
conducted simultaneously in two lanes.
Lane 1 is Simulcast Australia wide to motor dealers only.
Wednesday – Government, Corporate & Repossession Auction.
This sale is includes vehicles from Local Government, Educational Institutions,
Fleet, Lease and Finance Companies, Rental Programme as well as other well
known vendors. The sale which is open to the trade and public, includes a
complete range of vehicles and price ranges. This auction is simulcast to
dealers around Australia.
Friday
This Friday price range Auction is targeted at vehicles under $10000 and offers
the Motor Dealers the opportunity to buy a vehicle from a large
range, including Dealer, Corporate, Repossessions and Private Vehicles.
Wholesale
It is important to BMA’s dealers and clients that their vehicles are always
available for sale. Accordingly we operate a strong wholesale service which
assists our clients in selling their vehicles at any time outside of the
auction process.
Fixed Price
The program initiated over 10 years ago has proved to be a great success. It
works by targeting buyers who are not comfortable with the auction or from a
retail environment.
Typically, fix price is suitable for late model vehicles, with the balance of
manufacturers’ warranty.
The benefit to vendor is they receive a sale price above the auction reserve.
Industrial – Plant & Machinery
At BMA we are always looking to increase our product range. Our Industrial
department has proven to be a successful addition, with monthly (regular)
auctions we offer our clients(customers, vendors) the opportunity to auction
their trucks, trailers, plant, equipment and general goods as part our seamless
service.
Online
BMA is a leader in online auction; we currently have 4 online products.
Online Auctions
This gives our clients the opportunity to sell their vehicles to a large number
of registered buyers around Australia at online only auctions.
Online Tender
Similar to the Online Auction, the online tender process allows potential
purchasers to tender on vehicles that are catalogued, photographed, inspected
and detailed.
Simulcast Auction
This allows the purchaser to participate in a live auction. A live feed is
streamed onto the net, which allows them to participate as a normal buyer.
Fixed Price
The net is the buyer’s showroom; this is particularly convenient for the
private buyer. All vehicles are displayed with the full-on road costs. Once a
bid is accepted the purchaser pays a security deposit which secures the vehicle
for 5 days.

Presentation
In order to secure the best possible price for our client’s vehicles, BMA
invests heavily in the presentation of the vehicles.
BMA has its own quality Assurance presentation procedures which include:
All decals removed
Buffed
Washed
Engines steam cleaned
Vacuumed
Carpets and Seats shampooed
Glass cleaned
Tyres shined
Hand polished
Photographed
Once a vehicle is fully detailed it is taken to our purpose built Photo Booth.
There are 6 pictures of each vehicle taken. These pictures are automatically
processed on to our website.
Quality Assurance
The Brisbane Motor Auctions Quality manual is approved by SCI-QUAL and is a
Certified Queensland Government approved Quality Assurance Supplier
(Certificate No.6117 & 810)
The Quality Assurance System was founded on AS9002 – 1994 and has been upgraded
to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008.
Safety Certificates
Brisbane Motor Auctions have our own established on-site mechanical workshop
(Approved Inspection Station 8775) with Qualified Mechanics who are
authorised to issue Queensland Safety Certificates.
Safety Certificates are completed on behalf of our Clients that are involved in
our Government & Fleet auctions. The workshop allows Brisbane Motor
Auctions to have the flexibility to offer our Clients a complete service
on-site.
Repairs
Paint touch-ups, windscreen replacement and repairs, tyres or interior vinyl
repairs, can all be carried out on our site. Panel beating and Warranty work
are conducted off site.
